More than it seems ...
OK - time for us to come clean.
Our drive this week to raise funds for Breast Cancer Now and promoting Wear It Pink on Friday comes from a personal place.
Less than a month ago our Sales Director and co-founder, Paula Grady, was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was caught early and Paula was able to have scans and assessments very quickly, culminating in an operation to remove her tumour yesterday, the day after her birthday!
Paula is home now and recuperating with her family after a gruelling few weeks (some of our Clients will now she was in meetings right up until the end of last week - what a trouper!).
She, like the rest of the team at Osmḗ Candles, want to do what we can to promote breast cancer awareness so others can get the benefit of advice on checking themselves for signs of the illness as well as helping to fund research into treatment, so we're running our fundraiser until the end of Breast Cancer Awareness month instead of just until Friday.
Order any of our candles, with the scent of your choice from our range, in pink and we'll donate £5 to Breast Cancer Now for each pink candle ordered.
